Services

Our services are designed to support the brain in its natural ability to regenerate, rebalance, and perform optimallyThey are suitable for anyone seeking a sensitive, conscious, and scientifically grounded approach to mental well-being. Each session offers a space for regeneration and stillness - a subtle ritual of returning to one’s breath, to light, and to oneself. We draw on scientifically validated methods, combining them into a multisensory approach that activates not only cognitive functions, but also deeper layers of perception, embodiment, and the nervous system.

Photobiomodulation - Light for the Brain

At the core of our work is photobiomodulation - a light therapy that uses red and near-infrared wavelengths to act directly on the mitochondria of brain cells, the tiny “power stations” responsible for producing energy (ATP). This process triggers natural cellular regeneration, improves metabolism, oxygenation, and microcirculation in the brain, and reduces inflammation in neural tissue.

In the field of neuroscience, photobiomodulation is recognized as a non-invasive, scientifically proven method for supporting brain vitality and the regeneration of neural connections.

Light waves of specific frequencies penetrate the skull and reach brain tissue, where they activate the enzyme cytochrome-c-oxidase, a key element of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. This enhances energy production, cellular communication, and the stability of neural networks - resulting in improved mental clarity, focus, and emotional balance.

At Light Brains, we use certified devices by the Canadian company Vielight, a global leader in the research and clinical application of brain photobiomodulation. These systems combine precisely calibrated red and near-infrared wavelengths with gentle pulsation at specific brainwave frequenciesWe work with two Vielight models - Alpha and Gamma - each designed to target different patterns of brain activity:

  • Alpha (10 Hz) - corresponds to the brain’s alpha rhythm, associated with relaxation, inner calm, and regeneration. This state supports parasympathetic activation and helps both body and mind shift from tension into balance.
  • Gamma (40 Hz) - corresponds to the brain’s gamma rhythm, characteristic of wakefulness, creativity, concentration, and neuroplasticity. Activating this frequency enhances neural network coherence and strengthens cognitive performance.

Through these two modes, we can work precisely with different levels of brain activity - from deep relaxation to the activation of higher cognitive functions. The therapy thus provides a comprehensive effect, harmonizing the brain according to its current needs and natural rhythm.

Regular sessions help stabilize brain rhythms, increase resilience to stress, strengthen the nervous system’s regenerative capacity, and support a return to inner equilibrium.

Clients often describe the effect as a feeling of mental brightness, deep release, and quiet calm that lingers long after the session ends. Photobiomodulation is therefore not only a scientifically supported method - it is also a gentle ritual of light, a return to the natural frequency of life.

The Multisensory Experience

We expand light stimulation into a full sensory experience that helps both brain and body return to their natural balance. Each element combines scientific precision with aesthetic sensitivity:

  • Sound vibrations - binaural beats and relaxation frequencies that harmonize brainwaves.
  • Aromatherapy - natural essences with proven effects on the limbic system and emotional tone.
  • Gentle touch and pressure - for example, with weighted blankets that provide grounding and a sense of safety.
  • Visual elements - optical fibers, soft colors, and sensorimotor stimuli that support deeper grounding.

Each session is conducted individually, in silence and unhurried rhythm, with an emphasis on perceiving the present moment. The entire process can be experienced as a subtle ritual of returning to oneself - to balance between light and stillness, breath and body.

The Effects of Multisensory Therapy

Every multisensory session works on several levels - biological, neural, and conscious. While light activates the mitochondria and initiates cellular regeneration, sound, scent, and touch help the nervous system rediscover its natural rhythm and state of balance. The body and brain re-enter a coherent state, where systems collaborate in harmony rather than tension.

On the biological level, oxygenation and cerebral blood flow improve, repair mechanisms are activated, and cellular energy (ATP) increases. On the neural level, the sympathetic system calms while the parasympathetic system activates - the body shifts from “fight or flight” into restoration and presence. And on the conscious level, thought processes quiet down, perception expands, and a deeper connection with the body and surrounding space emerges.

This process can be seen as a subtle renewal of the entire system - a return to the inner coherence that the brain and body inherently know. Conscious perception of light, sound, and scent activates multisensory integration within the brain, strengthening hemispheric connectivity and cultivating a state of inner harmony and calm.

Many clients describe the experience as if time slows down, the body releases tension, and the mind clears - as though the nervous system has learned to breathe againIn this quiet synchrony, a sense of wholeness arises - a return to oneself, to the natural pulse of life, and to equilibrium between light and stillness.
